About the Author

Tiffiney Michelle Rogers-McDaniel is the creator of Teaching Parables. She is a native of Birmingham, AL and a graduate of Huffman High School. Tiffiney obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from The University of Montevallo in 1996.

Tiffiney experienced a successful mortagage career for 15 years until the mortgage industry crashed and she took the opportunity to pursue a new career. There were many days that she had to remind herself of God’s promises solely based on scripture and not by what she saw or or how she felt. The main scripture that kept her motivated, focused and her faith strong was Phillipians 4:13, ‘I can do all things through Christ that gives me strength’. That was a scripture that she learned as a child that is a constant reminder that nothing is impossible with God.  She pursued a new career and became a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) as well as a Certified Interventional Radiology and Cardiovascular Coder(CIRCC).

Mrs. McDaniel is first and foremost a child God, a dedicated wife and a loving mother of one daughter. Tiffiney and her family currently reside in the beautiful city of Trussville, AL.

Tiffiney enjoys cooking, good music and spending quality time with her family and friends. In her spare time she loves to travel and explore God’s creation. She has a talent for planning, catering and decorating for special occasions.

What’s the Mission?

In today’s society Tiffiney realized the urgent need to get back to the basics of loving God and loving one another. The Ten commandments are all about our relationship with God and our relationships with others. How can we be better people if we don’t know how? Proverbs 22:6 states that we should train up a child the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it. This merely starts at home with the parents and extends out to the schools and churches for support. We as parents are our childrens first teachers and we must lead by example.Sometimes as an adult we need to be reminded that God’s word is true and it is the only thing that withstands the test of time. Being brought up in the church and knowing the scriptures at a young age is what got Tiffiney through the toughest times of her life and she wants to provide the same for children today. This desire is what led to the development of Teaching Parables.

Many times in the Bible, God spoke to people in parables. Parables are simple stories used to illustrate a moral or spiritual lesson as told by Jesus in the Gospels. According to Matthew, Jesus speaks in parables because the people do not see, hear, or understand. Doesn’t that sound like our society today? Once we know God’s Word, then we can speak that Word and activate God’s Word to bless our lives. It is my sincere prayer that these books will cause a realignment in our society. It will help us raise a new generation, where our kids will be able to know and understand God’s Word, then apply it to their lives which will establish success for a lifetime.
