Have you ever heard someone say pressure produces diamonds? Of course, you have. But do you know that pressure also causes pipes to burst? Sometimes, life can get so heavy that we just don’t know what to do. Some people contemplate suicide, experience heart attacks, strokes and commit murders among many other things that can be temporary or permanent7 life changing events. So, what type of outcome will pressure have on you?
Will God give us more than we can handle? I believe God will allow things to take place in our lives that seem overwhelming, but I also believe that God will provide a way of escape. That way of escape is HIM. These are the times that we should totally trust, lean and depend on Him to see us through whatever it is we may face. These are the times when the strength of our foundation will be tested.
Having an intimate relationship with God knowing, trusting, standing, and believing His Word will make a world of difference in how we handle any situation. Things will happen in this life that we have no control over, but those are the times we must realize that God has a master plan and be open to accept what he allows. Will that be easy? Absolutely not. I believe that it will eventually work out for the best. God will reveal to us why things had to happen the way it did.
We should read, pray, study and apply His Word whether situations are good or bad. There will come a time in life when we all will be tested, so let’s be prepared. The goal is to not allow the pipe to burst due to the pressure but allow that same pressure to produce a diamond. Either you will come out soaking wet or shining bright, the choice is yours.
I have found that it is in the hard times that I need to depend on God the most. I have grown in hard times much more than when things seem manageable.
Great message. I’m praying that I allow the pressure to produce a diamond and not a burst pipe. 🙂
